Picking a basket

In trying to build up my portfolio for grad school, it was said to me I need to have two more pieces, in addition to the Gibran setting. Last post discussed the possibility of revisiting the orchestra piece. This post is me flipping out because I cannot focus on any given piece, or pick what to work on. I'm dividing my eggs into baskets and I can't pick, I just don't know. I think all the baskets suck because I'm me and that's what I do. The orchestra piece is a mess and I can't figure out the form. I've been doing nothing but writing music and watching Grey's Anatomy for two full days and coming up with nothing. Not Good Not Good Not Good.

I do want to go to grad school. If only I could prove it.
